Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• State teaching certification.
• Ability to model Catholic teachings and values in professional life.
• Knowledge of relevant technology for classroom instruction.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Good problem solving and decision making skills.
• Self-motivated with high energy.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans that adhere to system curriculum maps.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.
• Observe, monitor and evaluate students’ progress and performance.
• Assign and grade class work, homework, tests, assignments and enter grades online.
• Provide appropriate and timely feedback on work.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and development.
• Perform pastoral duties including student support and counseling.
• Participate in school events, department meetings and parent meetings.
