Job summary

Diocese of Trenton seeks a dedicated full-time Physics and Chemistry teacher to instruct ACP level physics and chemistry to sophomore students at our Red Bank campus. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and well-versed in the physical sciences, with experience conducting labs and enforcing safety protocols.

The position offers a salary range of $40,000–$60,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance and a 403(b)

Qualifications

• Teach ACP level physics and chemistry to sophomore students.
• Be organized, flexible, and able to collaborate with colleagues.
• Familiar with laboratory protocol in a high school setting.
• Able to prepare, conduct and evaluate physics and chemistry labs.
• Experience with electronic gradebooks and dashboard tools.
• Previous teaching experience preferred; secondary science certification recommended.

Full-Time Physics and Chemistry teacher:

Full-time Physics and Chemistry teacher to teach ACP level physics and chemistry to sophomore students. Qualified candidates must be highly organized, flexible, and able to collaborate with others. Qualified candidates should be well versed in the physical sciences and be familiar with laboratory protocol in the high school setting. They should be capable of explaining complex physics and chemistry concepts in a clear and concise manner for students to understand and relate to. Candidates should be able to prepare, conduct and evaluate lab activities for both physics and chemistry courses. Familiarity with electronic gradebook platforms and school dashboard programs. Previous teaching experience is preferred and secondary science certification is strongly recommended.

The salary range for this position is $40,000-60,000per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
