Local Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse – Philadelphia, PA

13-Week Contract | Up to $3,600/Week DOE

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse for a local travel assignment with one of our top-tier partners in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This 13-week contract offers excellent pay and the chance to work in one of the country’s most dynamic and historic cities.

Job Description:

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and EP studies
• Monitor patient vitals before, during, and after procedures, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation
• Administer medications as prescribed, including sedation and emergency medications
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologic technologists, and other healthcare professionals during procedures
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure compliance with infection control policies
• Prepare and operate specialized Cath Lab equipment
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and post-procedure care
  
  

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Active RN License in the state of Pennsylvania (or compact license with eligibility to practice in PA)
• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Electrophysiology (EP)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology highly preferred
