Job summary

Jupiter Endovascular in Menlo Park, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler to join the Vertex PE System team. You will assemble complex catheter-based devices in a regulated cleanroom, following GMP and quality standards, to support a fast-paced startup environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on catheter manufacturing experience, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to read drawings and work instructions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1+ years in medical device assembly, preferably catheter manufacturing.
Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and ISO in a medical device manufacturing environment; strict hygiene.
Ability to read assembly drawings and manuals.
Excellent manual dexterity and ability to use small tools under a microscope.

Responsibilities

Assemble catheters and devices following work instructions and quality standards.
Use hand tools, microscopes, and bonding/lamination equipment.
Perform in-process inspections and functional testing to ensure specs are met.
Document inspection results, lot traceability, and production data according to SOPs and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with engineering and quality to improve procedures and equipment.
Support validation of new assembly methods and tooling.
Diagnose and resolve minor assembly and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain equipment and ensure calibration and fit for use.
