Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Chicago, IL. The role involves joining the cardiovascular team to care for patients undergoing cath lab procedures, with 4 days of 10-hour shifts over a 13-week contract.

The candidate must have an RN license in Illinois, BLS and ACLS, and at least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a cath lab or critical care setting, along with proficiency in EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license issued by the state of Illinois.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in critical care or cath lab.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiovascular team with patient preparation, procedures and recovery.
• Document in electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure patient safety.
• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care during cath lab procedures.
