Qualifications

About the Job:

CardioNow is hiring a detail-oriented Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist. You will report directly to the VP of Operations or his/her designee.

Responsibilities include:

1. Setting up for procedures adhering to sterile technique, preparing patients with hemodynamic monitoring equipment, observing patient responses, and practicing patient safety goals.
2. Demonstrating effective aseptic technique throughout procedures.
3. Operating the table, positioning patients for optimal fluoroscopic visualization, setting radiation parameters, and ensuring radiation safety for patients and staff.
4. Using technical skills to perform procedures accurately and safely, assisting physicians with catheter and guidewire insertions.
5. Recording hemodynamic data, patient symptoms, and responses; communicating changes to the team.
6. Scanning supplies, completing charges, transporting patients as needed, and maintaining inventory levels.
7. Troubleshooting equipment issues, following quality control measures, and ensuring proper image archiving.
8. Taking accountability for actions, reporting errors, and following up appropriately.
9. Advocating for patients, responding to complaints, and supporting performance improvement activities.
10. Collaborating with staff and supporting new team members.

Qualifications include:

1. Graduate of an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology or Radiology program.
2. At least 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath/Electrophysiology or Interventional Radiology department.
3. Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
4. Current RCIS certification and Washington State Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification.
5. Experience assisting in cardiac catheterization, interventions, and renal ablations.

Work location: Lynnwood, WA at 19020 33rd Ave W.

This position can be full-time or per diem, with hourly wages ranging from $52 to $70 plus benefits.
