Qualifications

• Radiologic Technologist licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Must cross train to the scrub position.
• Takes 3-11, 11-7, weekend, and holiday call.
• Must be able to respond within 20 minutes of a call-out.
• Must be able to read, write legibly, speak and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment, demonstrating knowledge and application of radiologic principles.
• Assist with sterile technique in procedure preparation.
• Assist in patient preparation and setting up sterile trays; scrub role as needed.
• Participate in PI activities and support improvement measures.
• Handle departmental charging for procedures and supplies.
• Assist with other duties and patient transportation as needed.
• Provide direct patient care and monitor for symptoms and reactions.
• Assist with emergency measures for cardiac events.
• Attend in-service programs and required trainings; adhere to safety precautions.
