Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist in Georgia for a contract role. The ideal candidate holds an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology with ARRT certification and 1+ year cath lab experience.

You will assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include prepping patients, operating imaging systems, monitoring vitals, and maintaining sterile technique.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT certification is required.
• At least 1 year of cath lab experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and angiographic procedures.
• Operate imaging systems and assist with fluoroscopic and digital procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and infection control protocols.
• Document all aspects of the procedure and maintain accurate records.
• Assist physicians and the clinical team with interventional and diagnostic processes.
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report defects for prompt repairs.
• Provide patient education regarding procedures as appropriate.

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this contract position, you'll play a vital part in diagnostic and interventional procedures, partnering closely with a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification as a Cath Lab Tech or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Prior experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting
• Strong foundation in imaging, with proficiency in operating Cath Lab equipment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Detail-oriented approach and the ability to maintain composure in fast-paced situations
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
