*Overview*

The Cath Lab Tech III works in our fast-paced Cath Lab, facing various clinical challenges. We value techs who can multitask and think quickly while providing excellent patient care. The role involves circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring invasive cardiology procedures. The technician demonstrates understanding of all invasive procedures, equipment, supplies, and indications for each procedure.

*Location and Organization*

• Woodlands Hospital is a 245-bed non-profit facility serving The Woodlands, Texas. Part of CommonSpirit Health, which operates 139 hospitals and over 1,000 care sites across 21 states, providing accessible services to nearly 25% of U.S. residents.

Must live within 30-45 minutes of the hospital for emergency response. On-call 8-9 days every five weeks, including one weekend shift.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff and room activities to maximize productivity.
• Operate radiographic equipment following radiation safety procedures.
• Operate physiologic recorder/database systems, recognizing arrhythmias and waveforms.
• Operate manifold, power injector, and support equipment (VCR, ACT machines, oximeters, transport monitors).

Qualifications

Required Licensure and Certifications

• Associate's Degree or Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RTR), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT).
• CPR certification.

Required Experience

• Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.

Pay Range

$32.08 - $46.51 per hour
