Job summary

Avita Health System in Galion, OH is seeking a Cath Lab Tech to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures under guidance of the invasive team.

You will assist with procedures such as IABP/Impella and temporary pacemaker insertions, maintain standards of practice, and participate in teaching patients and families.

Qualifications

• BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Associate degree preferred.
• RCIS certification preferred.
• Experience in Cardiovascular Catheterization Lab preferred.
• Experience with GE MAC Lab and Innova preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Support procedures with devices such as IABP/Impella and temporary pacemaker insertions.
• Follow established standards under the direction of an invasive radiologist, cardiologist, or surgeon; assist in patient and family teaching.
