Avita Health System in Galion, OH is seeking a Cath Lab Tech to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures under guidance of the invasive team.

You will assist with procedures such as IABP/Impella and temporary pacemaker insertions, maintain standards of practice, and participate in teaching patients and families.

Competenze

BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire.
ACLS certification obtained within 6 months of hire.
Associate degree preferred.
RCIS certification preferred.
Experience in Cardiovascular Catheterization Lab preferred.
Experience with GE MAC Lab and Innova preferred.

Mansioni

Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Techto join our Cath LabDepartment at our Galionlocation.

Position Overview

The Cath Lab Tech may assist in NCDR registry reporting, quality initiatives and other compliance requirements for cath labs with ODH. The Cath Lab Tech will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, perform emergency procedures associated with cardiovascular procedures such as Intra-Aortic Balloon pump/Impella and temporary pacemaker insertion. Follow established standards of practice under the direction of a credentialed invasive radiologist, cardiologist or cardiothoracic/vascular surgeon. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the facilities mission.

Qualifications

Required:

BLS certification or obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.
ACLS certification or obtained within six (6) months of hire.

Preferred:

Minimum of an associate degree.
RCIS certification preferred.
Previous experience in Cardiovascular Catheterization Lab.
Previous experience with GE MAC Lab and Innova.
