Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Rochester, NY
Salary: $3,600/week
Shifts: 4x10s Days

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare the Cath Lab: Ensure that all equipment, supplies, and medications are ready and properly set up prior to procedures.
  2. Assist during Procedures: Work alongside the Cardiologist to perform a variety of cardiovascular interventions such as angioplasties, stent placements, and pacemaker insertions.
  3. Monitor Patient Vitals: Track and report patient vitals during procedures, taking appropriate action when necessary to ensure patient safety.
  4. Operate Imaging Equipment: Manage and troubleshoot complex imaging systems such as angiography, echocardiogram machines, and intravascular ultrasound.
  5. Perform Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all imaging and lab equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and functioning to prevent delays or malfunctions.
  6. Administer Medications and Contrast Agents: Assist in administering prescribed medications and contrast agents as directed by the Cardiologist.
  7. Provide Patient Care: Ensure patients are comfortable, well-informed, and cared for throughout the procedure, providing support and reassurance as needed.
  8. Document Procedures: Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all procedures, patient data, and outcomes for medical records.
  9. Follow Safety Protocols: Strictly adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patients.
  10. Stay Current with Advances: Regularly update your skills by staying informed about new technologies and best practices in cardiovascular procedures and imaging.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. BLS Certification (required)
  2. ARRT Certification (required)
  3. RCIS Certification
  4. 2+ years of Cath Lab Technologist experience in a clinical setting
