Job summary

AllianceHealth Durant in Durant, OK is seeking a Cath Lab Technician, PRN, to assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. You will prepare and maintain equipment, monitor patients, and uphold safety standards throughout the procedures.

The role requires 1–2 years in a Cardiac Cath Lab or cardiovascular diagnostic setting, with CVT/CRT/RN licensure and BCLS. ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or cardiovascular diagnostic setting.
• Licenses: CVT or CRT or RN with BCLS; ACLS preferred.
• State licensure as applicable and on-site qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the cardiac cath lab for procedures and ensures equipment is ready.
• Assists physicians during procedures with fluoroscopy and related systems.
• Monitors vital signs and documents data during procedures.
• Positions and prepares patients, explains procedures to alleviate anxiety.
• Ensures proper documentation and compliance with safety protocols.
• Maintains equipment and participates in quality improvement activities.
