Job summary

Marshfield Clinic Health System is seeking a dedicated Cardiac Technologist to join our Heart and Vascular team in Weston, WI. This position involves performing life-saving cardiovascular tests and procedures, collaborating with a team of physicians and nurses to provide high-quality care.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree in cardiovascular technology, strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, and be ready to obtain RCIS certification within 12 months. A robust benefits package is provided to support our employees' health and well-being.

Qualifications

• Perform invasive cardiac and peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Possess knowledge of pharmacological options and their impact on tests.

Job Schedule: Full time

Weekly Hours: 40.00

Salary Range: $30.60 – $44.00

On Call Expectation: 1‑2 nights a week and every third weekend.

Responsibilities

• Performs invasive cardiac, peripheral vascular diagnostic, interventional and electrophysiology procedures using sophisticated imaging, hemodynamic monitoring and recording equipment to assess and treat cardiac and peripheral vascular disease.
• Possess a thorough understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, hemodynamic principles, X‑ray techniques, and emergent and routine cardiac care.
• Possess knowledge of pharmacologic options for treatment and the impact it can have on exercise performance, hemodynamic and diagnostic tests.
• Utilize different equipment, programs, and computers, including Cardiac, Vascular and EP experience with XPER/CUPID, GE, Siemens and Philips XR systems.
• Ability to work with growth and development needs of unique client populations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in cardiovascular technology or equivalent experience is required.
• Expert knowledge in cardiovascular technology, including pharmacology and advanced cardiac rhythm management.
• Thorough understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, hemodynamic principles, X‑ray techniques, and emergent and routine cardiac care.
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) within 12 months of hire is preferred. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) if applicable to position is preferred.
• Depending on location, RCIS within 12 months of hire is required. ACLS is required within 6 months of hire and PALS, if applicable, is preferred.
