  • Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center is New Mexico’s only hospital dedicated exclusively to cardiovascular care, including the state’s only facility performing left ventricular aortic device (LVAD) implant and a state-of-the-art hybrid operating room.
Responsibilities
  • Serves as lead for assigned area and oversees the daily assignments of staff within assigned area.
  • Responsible for patient care and safety protocols, adherence to policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with special departmental projects as needed.
  • Performs technical and patient care functions during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab as needed.
Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent
  • Three (3) years of directly related experience in hospital setting of which one (1) year must have been in a lead capacity
  • ARRT (R). If not currently RCIS certified, employee must get RCIS certification after 2 years of FT employment for cath lab or RCES for EP.
