Job summary

AdventHealth in Castle Rock, Colorado seeks an experienced cardiovascular professional to support diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will troubleshoot recording equipment, prioritize clinical and administrative tasks, and document all tests per hospital standards.

You will assist physicians during complex cardiovascular procedures, evaluate patient status, and intervene as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. BLS/ACLS are required; RCIS/RCES and related certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred and BLS/ACLS required.
• Experience in cardiac diagnostic/interventional procedures preferred.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular technology is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and corrects recording instrument malfunctions or unusual patient problems that interfere with recordings.
• Independently prioritizes clinical and administrative work and identifies process improvements.
• Processes patient and department records, ensuring documentation of performed tests in accordance with hospital standards.
• Assists physicians in performing specialized cardiovascular procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation, and electrophysiology studies.
• Evaluates and documents patient status, responds appropriately, and intervenes or refers in a timely manner to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
