Qualifications

  • Current license required: RTR, RCVT, RCVIT, RRT, CCPT, CVT, RCIS, RCES, or PMD.
  • Previous experience in Cardiac Cath or Electrophysiology preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities

The technologist assumes the responsibility and accountability, under the direction of a cardiologist, electro physiologist, or radiologist for providing safe and competent care, both technically and clinically in the diagnosis, treatment, and intervention of cardiac and vascular disease in accordance with Manatee Memorial Hospital policies, procedures, and philosophy. The technologist also provides professional leadership and support to all healthcare team members. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • RTR, RCVT, RCVIT, RRT, CCPT, CVT, RCIS, RCES, or PMD, current license required, AAS in ICT or 10 years cardiac cath experience.
  • Previous Cardiac Cath, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, or Invasive Vascular Lab experience preferred.
  • BLS required (or obtained within 90 days of employment).
  • Associates in Applied Science in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology preferred.
  • ACLS certification (or obtained within 90 days of employment).
