Saint Francis Hospital Bartlett is a 196-bed hospital dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to the community. It offers a variety of specialties including Emergency Services, Surgical Services, Med/Surge, Ortho, Critical Care, and Women’s Services.

Position Summary

Performs direct and indirect functions in the cardiac cath lab, assisting physicians and staff with clinical and technical aspects of cardiovascular care. Handles procedures such as monitoring, circulating, inventory control, and functions in all cardiac alerts and STEMI cases.

Responsibilities
  • Assess physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs of patients.
  • Complete pre, intra, and post-procedure assessments and inform the team of any changes.
  • Develop individualized care plans for procedures.
  • Provide patient and family education and guidance.
  • Perform x-ray procedures, including abdominal aorta and runoff imaging.
  • Monitor and assist with setup and care of pacemakers and IABP.
Qualifications
  • Education: Associate Degree in Radiology or equivalent; Basic EKG course required. Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Experience: 6 months in Cath Lab or Cardiac Intervention Lab; 1 year preferred.
  • Certifications: BLS required; ACLS within 6 months; RCIS preferred.
