Palm Careers is staffing a 13-26 week travel Cath Lab assignment in Sacramento, CA. Earn an aggressive weekly pay and gain hands-on exposure to complex cardiac cases in a top academic heart center.

You’ll work 4x10s from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM with on-call duties, nights, and weekends, and collaborate with leading cardiologists in a world-class environment. This contract strengthens your skills and accelerates your career in cardiovascular care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a health sciences program (CV Tech, Rad Tech, Nursing, or related).
• 2+ years Cath Lab experience.
• Certifications: BLS & ACLS (required); RCIS (highly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy/physiology and comfort in fast-paced, high-acuity settings.
• Must be proficient with Cath Lab Equipment.
• Flexibility for on-call, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic caths, angioplasty, stenting, device implants, and structural heart procedures.
• Run the show on hemodynamic monitoring, fluoroscopy, and hybrid OR technology.
• Prep patients, monitor vitals, maintain sterile technique, and scrub in for procedures.
• Collaborate daily with top cardiologists, nurses, and technologists in a teaching hospital environment.
