Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing in California is seeking a Cardiovascular lab professional to support invasive and noninvasive procedures under the guidance of physicians. The role requires ARRT-R licensure, BLS, ACLS within 30 days, and prior cardiovascular lab experience.

• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab and/or Interventional Radiology; preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring; preferred.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist by scrubbing procedures and/or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data in the cardiac lab.
• Prepare and monitor equipment, drugs, and contrast media.
• Ensure procedure room readiness and supply par levels.
• Assist in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures and prepare power injector/contrast.
• Monitor injector rates and quantity of contrast.
• Participate in staff meetings and performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures and/ or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Certified to operate fluoro/pan with Fluoro CA license addendum. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures. Prepares power injector and contrast medium. Injects contrast during procedures and monitors injector rates/ quantity of contrast administered during all procedures.

This compensation estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location.
