Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Tech to join the Cardiac Cath Lab team in Ocala, FL. You will assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures, including right and left heart catheterizations and peripheral procedures, using advanced equipment.

A minimum of 2 years cath lab experience is required, along with RCIS certification and current ACLS/BLS. The role involves 4 x ten-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotating call for STEMI cases.

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in the Cardiac Cath Lab at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital, where you will work in a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing high-quality cardiovascular care. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will assist in performing both diagnostic and interventional procedures, including right and left heart catheterizations and peripheral procedures, using advanced equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with invasive procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as GE lab, Impella, Balloon pump, Penumbra, and IVUS.
• Maintain precise documentation of procedures using the Merge Hemo documentation system.
• Participate in call rotation to provide timely responses for STEMI cases.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience is required. Applicants must possess RCIS certification and current ACLS/BLS certifications.
