Job summary

ARMStaffing seeks an Electrophysiology Technician to join the EP lab in Stuart, Florida. The role supports cardiac ablation, mapping and intervention procedures, maintains sterile technique, handles equipment, and monitors patient status during procedures.

This is a 13-week contract on a day shift (4x10 hours) with on-site duties and EPIC documentation. Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years in an EP lab; experience in Cath Lab or IR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in EP lab
• Experience in Cath Lab or IR preferred
• ACLS and BLS current required
• RCVT/RCIS preferred
• Day shift availability may be required

Job Description

The Electrophysiology Technician will be responsible for various tasks within the EP lab, including but not limited to assisting with cardiac ablation, mapping, and intervention procedures. The technician will maintain a sterile field, ensure proper handling of equipment, and monitor patient status during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assists in electrophysiology procedures, including cardiac mapping and ablation.
• Maintains sterile techniques and a safe environment during interventions.
• Monitors patient conditions and provides necessary support during procedures.
• Operates and troubleshoots EP lab equipment.
• Documents procedures and patient interactions accurately in the EPIC system.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the EP lab is required.
• Experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• RCVT certification is preferred.
• Current AHA or Red Cross ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• RCIS certification is also preferred.
