Job Description
The Cardiovascular Technologist scrubs and monitors cardiac, vascular, interventional radiology, and interventional neurology procedures. Responsibilities include managing access sites and symptoms, taking emergency call shifts, and scheduling both inpatients and outpatients for various procedures. The technologist will assist in admitting, recovering, and discharging patients.
Responsibilities
- Scrub and monitor interventional procedures.
- Manage access sites and symptom management, including sheath removal.
- Schedule inpatients and outpatients for all procedures.
- Assist with the admission, recovery, and discharge of patients.
- Take emergency and after-hours call shifts as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Previous Cath Lab experience is required.
- Certification in Cardiovascular Credentialing (CCL) is mandatory.
- Experience in Interventional Radiology and Interventional Neurology is necessary.
- Ability to work independently and assist physicians.
