Tenor Health Foundation is seeking a Technologist (RCIS) to assist physicians during invasive cardiology procedures and to provide patient care across adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups. The role includes acquiring and reducing relevant procedure information and delivering didactic and clerical training to staff and CVT students.
Preferred candidates have 1–2 years of related experience, RCIS or registry eligibility (within 2 years of hire), and must obtain BCLS and ACLS certification
The Technologist (RCIS) assists the physician during all invasive cardiology procedures. Provide patient care to all invasive cardiology patients, including acquisition and reduction of all pertinent information related to their procedure. Provide didactic and clerical training to employee and CVT students. Patient care includes care to patients in the following age groups: adolescent (13 to 17 years), adult (18-64 years, and geriatric (over 64 years).
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or registry eligible (by an authorized accredited Cardiovascular Association) RCIS to be obtained within 2 years of hire.
Usually includes one (1) to two (2) years experience, continuing education desirable. Numerical ability, program presentation and training, communication skills, typing and dictation, mechanically inclined, Public Relations aptitude, teach/explain/instruct, clerical accuracy.
BCLS Certification, must be completed prior to end of orientation period. ACLS Certification.
