Florida Cardiovascular Partners Surgical Center in Port St. Lucie, Florida, is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team.

The technologist provides technical support during cardiovascular and vascular procedures, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, preparing rooms and equipment, operating cardiovascular equipment, and ensuring sterile technique.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology or related program.
• Florida license, registration, or certification is required or obtainable.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification or ability to obtain is preferred.
• Experience in cardiovascular, cath lab, vascular, interventional, or surgical areas is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiovascular and vascular procedures.
• Prepare patients, procedure rooms, equipment and supplies.
• Operate and maintain cardiovascular equipment.
• Assist with hemodynamic monitoring and procedural documentation.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards.
• Support patient safety and emergency procedures.
• Maintain equipment and procedural supplies.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related program

Florida license/registration/certification

BLS certification

ACLS certification or ability to obtain

Experience in cardiovascular, cath lab, vascular, interventional, or surgical settings preferred

About the Role

The Cardiovascular Technologist provides technical support during cardiovascular and vascular procedures, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with cardiovascular and vascular procedures
• Preparing patients, procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies
• Operating and maintaining cardiovascular equipment
• Assisting with hemodynamic monitoring and procedural documentation
• Maintaining sterile technique and infection prevention standards
• Supporting patient safety and emergency procedures
• Maintaining equipment and procedural supplies

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related program
• Applicable Florida license, registration, or certification
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification or ability to obtain
• Previous cardiovascular, cath lab, vascular, interventional, or surgical experience preferred
