Job summary

Delray Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to perform specialized cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. You will record hemodynamic pressures, operate imaging equipment, and support interventional cardiology teams with sterile technique and medication knowledge.

Minimum radiologic technology education with ARRT/RCIS eligible, Florida CRT license, and ACLS/BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited, competency-based program in radiologic technology.
• 2 years’ experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• ARRT registration/licensure required; Florida CRT license.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized cardiovascular procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
• Records hemodynamic pressures and data; operates X-ray equipment.
• Assists interventional cardiologists and vascular surgeons with sterile techniques.
• Knowledge of cardiac medications and patient monitoring.

Job Type: Full Time The Cath Lab Tech Performs specialized cardiovascular procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, including but not limited to: records hemodynamic pressures and computerized data, operates special X-ray equipment, burns compact disks, assists the invasive/interventional cardiologist vascular surgeon, electrophysiologist with procedures using sterile technique and has knowledge of cardiac medications.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited, competency-based program in radiologic technology

EXPERIENCE: 2 years’ experience in an acute care setting preferred

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION: Radiologic Technology Registration/Licensure as required (ARRT)

Florida License CRT

RCIS within 12 months of hire required
