Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or as a Surgical Technician.
• Certification and/or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certified.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses cardiovascular problems using medical imaging methods.
• Assists in complex procedures, including PCI and CTO.

Skills

Electrocardiogram (EKG) interpretation

Good written and oral communication skills

Knowledge of electrocardiography

Knowledge of coronary heart disease

Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology

Education

Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology

Certified as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
