Job summary

Adventist Health Bakersfield, a 254-bed acute care hospital, seeks an experienced registered nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care in accordance with standards. RN license required, ACLS/BLS, BSN preferred, and acute care experience preferred.

The role collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to plan discharge and ensure safe, compassionate patient care, with opportunities for professional growth within a faith-based nonprofit health system serving the West Coast.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Facility-specific: Basic Life Support (BLS) per policy is required.
• Department-specific: ACLS or ARC-ALS is required.

Responsibilities

• Collects data, analyzes assessment data, and develops a care plan.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and healthcare team in a safe, healing environment.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
