Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center to provide comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.

You will assess patients, administer medications, assist with circulating and scrubbing, monitor during procedures, document care, and communicate with physicians to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• Complete and document patient assessment upon admission.
• Reassess and document changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and monitor response.
• Monitor patient status pre, during, and post procedure.
• Communicate patient changes to the physician.
• Manage patients with life-threatening dysrhythmia or hemodynamic change per physician order.
• Explain procedures to patients and assess understanding.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Cath Lab.
• Support circulating and scrubbing roles during procedures.
• Document procedures and monitor patient response.
• Collaborate with physicians and team to ensure patient safety.
