Job summary

Jackson Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a busy Cath Lab/IR/EP/Vascular Lab in Montana. You will provide peri-procedural nursing care for about nine cases daily, ensure equipment readiness, and maintain patient safety during procedures.

Strong collaboration with cardiology and anesthesia teams is essential. Applicants should have an accredited nursing degree, active Montana/NLC license, BLS and ACLS, plus at least two years in Cath Lab settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Montana or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC/compact) license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required.
• Experience with vascular and electrophysiology procedures preferred.
• Experience with Philips Xray/Xper Hemo imaging equipment and Meditech EMR preferred.
• Proficient English language oral and written communication skills.
• Flexible availability to cover varied shifts, weekends, and call responsibilities (approximately 10–12 days per month).

Responsibilities

• Provide peri-procedural nursing care in a 2-room Cath/IR/EP/Vascular Lab performing approximately 9 cases per day.
• Ensure proper performance and maintenance of cath lab equipment and supplies.
• Assess patient needs and promote a safe surgical environment while circulating and scrubbing for procedures.
• Support procedures including left and right heart cath/PCI, PM/ICD implants, structural heart, TEE/CV, and various IR procedures such as ports, PICCs, peripheral interventions, ESI, nephrostomy, and G-tubes.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesia, cath lab manager, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Document care accurately and timely according to facility standards.
• Demonstrate flexibility to meet unit needs and participate in a three-person call team with mixed scrubs and nurses.
