Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Critical Care or Emergency Nursing required.
• Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and Patient Care.
• Provides necessary assessment, intervention and evaluation for Cath Lab patients, uses multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Maintains competence and functions independently with complex treatments and equipment such as IABP, hemodynamic monitoring and ACTs.
• Act quickly and appropriately in life‑threatening emergency situations.
• Holding room, receives patients from nursing units and outside hospitals, assesses pre‑procedure needs and initiates appropriate nursing care, provides post‑procedure care following physician orders.
