Qualifications

• 0-2 years in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• Active RN license in state or compact licensure; BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care following the nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings; reports changes promptly.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the healthcare team.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintains infection control practices and monitors medical equipment as needed.
• Engages in audits, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
