Job summary

Tennova Turkey Creek Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinating care per physician orders, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The role involves a broad range of duties across units, including emergency response, safe medication administration, education for patients and families, and adherence to infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• State RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BCLS) required; ACLS/PALS preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care across the nursing process (assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate)
• Document findings accurately and report changes to the care team
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop and implement care plans
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Operate and monitor medical equipment as needed
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality initiatives
• Document care thoroughly in the medical record
