Job summary

Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within the California Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• 1–2 years of acute care RN experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients by collecting and documenting data through interviewing, history taking, and physical assessment findings.
• Obtain accurate assessment data and interpret as normal or abnormal.
• Determine nursing diagnoses and plan and evaluate care.
• Safely perform and document care plans following standards of care.
• Educate patients and families to manage care and prevent complications.
• Coordinate care with other providers and support ethical and legal issues.
