Job summary

Grandview Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care across various units, following the nursing process and physician orders. The position requires current Alabama RN licensure (or a compact license), BLS certification, and a preference for ACLS/PALS/NRP. Hospital experience and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Alabama or holding Compact State Licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred.
• 0-2 years clinical nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Assess patients, document findings, report changes.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with the team.
• Respond to emergencies, participate in CPR and code team.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control and operate medical equipment safely.
