Job summary

St. Joseph's Health in Paterson, NJ, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care on-site within the Department of Nursing. The RN will plan, implement, and evaluate care using the Nursing Process and collaborate with the nursing team to meet unit goals.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, a BSN or related field preferred, BLS, and department-specific certifications (PALS/ACLS). Weekend shifts, testing prior to orientation, and 90-day orientation completion are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey.
• Current BLS, orientation, and department-specific certifications such as PALS/ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate nursing care using the Nursing Process.
• Collaborate with the Department of Nursing to support unit goals and patient care.
• Maintain compliance with Human Resources requirements and unit orientation timelines.
• Work a minimum of 2 weekend shifts per 4‑week schedule and 1 summer/1 winter holiday.
