Job summary

UChicago Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab at the Harvey location. This full-time, 100% onsite role involves coordinating and providing direct nursing care to patients, collaborating with physicians, and mentoring care team members.

The ideal candidate holds an Illinois RN license (BSN or ADN) and BLS certification. The position supports the Hospital's mission and requires a commitment to high-quality patient care, with opportunities for professional growth and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Current RN licensure with Illinois Department of Regulation or valid temporary permit to practice in Illinois.
• Current Basic Life Support (Healthcare Provider) certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to assess, design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care plans and outcomes.
• Provide complex nursing care and delegate tasks to Care Team members per unit competencies for the appropriate patient age group.
• Monitor and ensure quality of patient care and patient satisfaction.
• Pursue professional development opportunities independently and actively.
• Support daily operations of the Patient Care Center and align with Ingalls Hospital vision and standards.
