Job summary

Qualifications

• Postsecondary nursing program completion (Required).
• Active RN licensure in the state of practice.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required at hire or within timeframe.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) may be required per facility.
• 2+ years clinical nursing experience required.
• 1+ years Cath Lab or cardiac experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure suite and gather equipment for cases.
• Conduct pre- and intra-procedure patient assessments.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping.
• Circulate, scrub, and monitor patients during procedures.
• Administer medications and oxygen under physician supervision.
• Operate and maintain monitoring equipment.
• Participate in patient recovery and handoffs.
• Communicate with patients, families, and care teams.
• Supervise and support Cath Lab personnel as needed.
• Assist with conscious sedation and documentation per policy.
• Participate in emergency response procedures including defibrillation.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of Cath Lab.
• On-call rotation and timely response expectations.
