Job summary

SAE HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab, Radiology, Stress, and Cardiac Rehab departments. Schedule is 32 hours per pay period with no call and no weekends. Must hold an RN license and BLS; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in healthcare is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
• Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families, and supervising assigned team members.
• Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills, and answering questions.
• Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards, making or recommending necessary adjustments, and following nursing philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations.
