Job summary

Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana, Kentucky, is a 61-bed independent nonprofit facility delivering high-quality care since 1906. The Registered Nurse in Cath Lab will provide safe, compassionate care, coordinate patient plans, administer meds, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within a fast-paced environment.

This full-time days position requires a 20-minute callback with 10-12 nights per month on call, with ACLS/BLS and other certifications pursued within required timeframes.

Qualifications

• Provides safe, effective, compassionate care following hospital policies and standards.
• Coordinates patient care, monitors conditions, and communicates with the team.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to physicians.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per orders.
• Perform nursing interventions per protocols.
• Document care in EMR.
• Educate patients and families on treatments and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on care plans.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment and infection control.
• Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement and ongoing education.
