Job summary

Paradise Valley Hospital in National City, CA, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking an experienced RN for the Cardiovascular Laboratory. The role involves direct patient care for adults and geriatrics, collaborating with physicians, and ensuring equipment readiness in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN (preferred), an active RN license, BCLS and ACLS (upon hire and maintained), and at least 1 year of Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care experience.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; RN license required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certification required or obtained upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in the surgical environment.
• Communicates with physicians about patient condition and assists with equipment/inventory.
• Ensures readiness of procedure room/equipment and supports Cardiovascular Laboratory team needs.
• Monitors physiologic/hemodynamic data during diagnostic/therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
