Job summary

Valleywise Health in Phoenix is seeking a Cath Lab RN to provide professional, age-specific nursing care in collaboration with physicians and the care team. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, you will perform assessments, medication administration, and care planning, while documenting accurately in the EMR.

This role requires an AZ RN license (or compact), BLS, and ACLS upon hire; a Bachelor’s in Nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Current AZ RN license, compact or temporary license valid for practice.
• BLS certification (must be obtained through an AHA training center).
• ACLS certification may be required upon hire or transfer.
• Experience in acute care, especially cath lab or similar setting, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, age-specific nursing care in collaboration with physicians and the care team.
• Perform patient assessment, medication administration, and care planning.
• Document accurately in the EMR and complete required paperwork.
• Indirectly supervise ancillary personnel and contribute to team quality and improvement activities.
• Promote cost-effective, high-quality care in a diverse healthcare environment.
