Job summary

Corewell Health South – Lakeland Hospitals in St. Joseph, MI, is seeking a registered nurse to deliver patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team. The role follows the ANA nursing process, with education and discharge planning for patients and families.

The position is full-time, daytime hours, with on-call weekends. BLS and ACLS required within specified timelines; ED/ICU experience and CVL experience are preferred to strengthen clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing within 5 years.
• Michigan Registered Nurse licensure (RN).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) within 90 days.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) within 1 year.
• Preferred: 6 months Emergency or ICU experience.
• Preferred: CVL experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the ANA framework and nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
• Partner with Nurse Leader and care teams; tailor plan of care.
• Educate patients and families; document education in the health record.
