Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year related work experience and deemed competent.
• Current Florida RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. PALS for ER or PACU.
• Cath Lab experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, plans, implements, and documents nursing care.
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Performs patient tests and administers medications within the RN scope.
• Promotes patient independence by teaching care plans and medications.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
