Qualifications

• RN licensure required
• 1-2 years Cath Lab or cardiovascular/critical care experience preferred
• Experience with cardiac procedures and conscious sedation is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and other cardiovascular procedures.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic status, and patient response throughout procedures.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, anticoagulants, contrast, and sedation as ordered.
• Assist physicians and the procedural team during cardiac and interventional procedures.
• Recognize and respond promptly to arrhythmias, bleeding, hemodynamic changes, and other complications.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring, recovery care, and patient education.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection control, radiation safety, and patient safety standards.
