Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS is seeking a Cath Lab RN for day shifts on a PRN/per diem basis. You will prepare patients for cardiac catheterization, assist during procedures, and monitor recovery to ensure safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, obtain histories and prepare for catheterization.
• Assist cardiologists during angioplasties, stent placements and related procedures.
• Monitor patients post-procedure and provide discharge instructions.
• Operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment and monitors.
• Respond promptly to emergencies during procedures.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately.
• Stay updated on cardiac care advancements.
