Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab RN to care for patients 18 and older undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. You will provide pre, intra and post procedural nursing care and operate imaging equipment to support angiograms and related studies, including assist with pacemaker and ICD implant procedures.

Evening and day shifts may be required, with the ability to work as circulator, scrub or monitor as needed. Concord Hospital is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a state accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) within 2 years from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data through history taking and physical assessment and interprets data in order to plan, implement and evaluate interventions to meet patient care needs.
• Administers medications within scope of practice in State of NH.
• Delivers pre and post procedural care to patients according to hospital policy.
• Delivers intra procedural care in the role of circulator.
• Delivers intra procedural care effectively and safely in the role of scrub.
• Delivers intra procedural care in the role of monitor.
• Teaches the patient and/or significant other(s) about the plan of care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
