Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Associates considered with review).
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes theoretical and evidence-based knowledge in partnering with patients and their families to assess, plan, implement and evaluate age appropriate care.
• Assesses and collaborates with patient, family/significant others and other disciplines to identify outcomes and develop a care plan.
• Plans individualized outcomes-based care plans and orchestrates a plan of care for each shift.
• Implements the plan safely, documents modifications, and coordinates with nursing colleagues.
• Evaluates effectiveness of planned strategies and updates the plan of care as needed.
• Demonstrates skill and judgment to implement nursing care with critical thinking and evidence-based practice.
