Job summary

SCA Health is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab/EP Lab in Fort Lauderdale. You will serve as circulator, recovery nurse and sedation nurse for cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS (ACLS preferred with 90 days to obtain), and at least 5 years in cath lab/ED/PACU environments. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license and BLS; ACLS preferred with 90 days to obtain.
• Minimum 5 years of catheterization lab, ED, or PACU experience.
• Able to monitor, scrub or circulate on cath lab procedures and pre/post procedures.
• Fluent English communication with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to ensure patient safety during CV procedures.
• Acts as circulator, recovery nurse and sedation nurse for cath lab and EP lab.
• Maintains sterile technique and proper preparation of procedure rooms.
• Documents cath lab and EP lab records, medications and orders.
• Assists with patient transport and pre-procedure preparation.
• Monitors patients during electrophysiology procedures and uses EP monitoring systems.
• Ensures emergency equipment is available and functioning.
