Job summary

Memorial Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the cardiac cath lab and related invasive procedures. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, and assist physicians during TEE, CV, and Tilt Table studies.

You will monitor patients undergoing cath/PCI, electrophysiology, and vascular interventions while providing post-procedure education and recovery. The role requires current Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 12 months, and readiness to respond within 30

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Ohio as a Registered Nurse is required.
• Previous cardiac cath lab and/or critical care experience is preferred.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• ACLS certification within one year of hire is required.
• Must live within 30 minutes from the hospital.
• Maintains compliance in RQI as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of patient care in the cath lab and related procedures.
• Post-procedure care for cardiac catheterization/PCI, electrophysiology, vascular, and interventional radiology patients.
• Assist physicians with TEE, CV, and Tilt Table studies.
• Provide care to patients on LVAD/Impella and EKOS therapies.
• Administer medications including conscious sedation; manage emergent issues.
• Coordinate patient care for invasive procedures and ensure recovery and education.
• Manage sheath removal and maintain hemostasis.
• Operate hemodynamic monitoring and charting systems.
